Doubtful Sound Top 7 Scenic Cruises of World

4 March 2011

Media Release

Doubtful Sound in Fiordland has been picked by American travel website AOL Travel as the place to experience one of the World’s top seven “unbelievably scenic cruises”.  AOL Travel writer, Janna Grabber, rated it as “breathtaking” along with cruises in Antarctica, Alaska, the French Riviera, French Polynesia, Maine’s Penobscot Bay and the Norwegian Fjords.

The article, published online yesterday, featured a photograph of Real Journeys’ vessel the Fiordland Navigator.

“Cruising on Doubtful Sound is one of the best ways to experience the national park.  The unspoiled wilderness of Doubtful Sound is home to bottlenose dolphins, fur seals and the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin”, said Ms Grabber.

AOL Travel is part of AOL.com (formerly America Online), one of the biggest American online news sites, with millions of viewers each month.
