100% of money spent by locals on range of Real Journeys' Excursions to go to Christchurch Earthquake Appeal

Real Journeys is supporting the Christchurch earthquake appeal, raising funds with a range of affordable excursions for local residents from the Southland, Otago, Central Otago and ‘Crusader territories’.

Every cent spent by a local on one of these excursions will be donated to the NZ Red Cross for those affected by the Christchurch earthquake. 

“We wanted to do something that would raise substantial funds and give our loyal locals some enjoyment at the same time.  We are also aware some locals have not had the chance to explore the World Heritage Area that is virtually next door to us,” said Dave Hawkey, Real Journeys CEO.

The excursions have been chosen with locals in mind.

“We expect the special trip we’ve put to Dusky Sound on board the Patea Explorer to sell out very quickly,” said Mr Hawkey.

The range of excursions that offer these special local prices are:
