Coach Transfers
To ensure excellent connections with our Stewart Island Ferry Services, we offer coach transfers between Queenstown, Te Anau or Invercargill to Bluff.
Coach Transfers from Invercargill to/from Bluff
For passengers travelling to Stewart Island on board the ferry, we offer a coach transfer service between Invercargill and Bluff Wharf Visitor Terminal. The connecting coach from Invercargill to Bluff departs one hour prior to each of the ferry departures. The coach transfer from Bluff to Invercargill will return passengers to Invercargill arriving approximately one hour after the ferry arrives in Bluff.

Coach Transfers from Queenstown and Te Anau to/from Bluff
For visitors wishing to travel between Queenstown, Te Anau and Bluff, Real Journeys, in association with Tracknet, offers a daily coach transfer service, departing from Real Journeys Visitor Centres. The coach connects with the 11am ferry departure from Bluff. The return coach transfer from Bluff delivers visitors back to the Real Journeys Visitor Centres in Queenstown or Te Anau.
