This 2 day itinerary allows you to experience cruising on board the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak and the following day, take in the grandeur of Milford Sound with our day cruise.
Begin your itinerary with a cruise upon Lake Wakatipu onboard the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw. You'll arrive at Walter Peak High Country Farm where you will enjoy our gourmet barbeque lunch on the lakefront terrace.
Enjoy the overland route into Milford Sound by travelling in our luxury coaches. You'll enjoy a leisurely Nature Cruise with us, before heading back to Queenstown. You can also choose to fly back to Queenstown to enjoy the scenery from above.
With this suggested itinerary, you'll enjoy our overnight cruise at Milford Sound and the twinkling lights of the glowworm caves in Te Anau. Self drive or coach from Te Anau.
Start your trip by coaching or driving along the Milford Road and joining the Milford Mariner Overnight Cruise. After cruising along the fiord, we will drop anchor and you can choose to kayak or explore by tender craft. Enjoy the delicious 3 course dinner and then relax on board with fellow travellers.
After a hearty cooked breakfast on the boat, you'll cruise back to the harbour at Milford. Then you'll have time to join our evening trip to the glowworm caves in Te Anau and see the magic of their tiny lights.
