Doubtful Sound
Doubtful Sound, located in a World Heritage Area, is an overwhelming place. You can feel the power of nature here - the remoteness, the wildness and the peace. Known for its wilderness and wildllife, Doubtful Sound is the second largest of the 14 fiords in Fiordland National Park and it is three times longer and 10 times larger than Milford Sound. We offer daytime and overnight cruises at Doubtful Sound.

Stewart Island Experience is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fiordland Travel Ltd/Real Journeys. In addition to the ferry service between Bluff and Stewart Island, we operate coach connections to and from Bluff from Invercargill, Te Anau and Queenstown.
We offer a range of island excursions - including Paterson Inlet Cruises, visiting the renowned wildlife sanctuary of Ulva Island, Village and Bays Tours and Underwater Explorer Cruises on the Mollymawk, a semi-submersible. Rental cars, motor scooters and mountain bikes are also available for hire.
