Rachel Clifford - Event Sales Manager

Originally from Christchurch, Rachel made the move to Queenstown over 10 years ago. She has been with Real Journeys since 2011 and in the event industry for over 8 years.  She also holds qualifications in Hospitality, Marketing and Event Management.

Rachel loves the outdoors, and when she isn’t out and about telling everyone all the news from Real Journeys, she can often be seen hiking, running or on her mountain bike.

Clare Hitchin - Event Sales Executive

Hailing from another country full of sheep (Wales), Clare feels pretty at home in New Zealand.  She moved to ‘The Land of the Long White Cloud’ in 2009 and made Queenstown her home in 2010.  She started at Real Journeys in May 2016 and has a long background in Hospitality, most recently in Conference and Wedding Management.  She likes to think out of the box and come up with unique and memorable ways to make your event a success.

Clare loves to get out and about and explore what New Zealand has to offer, she is also a budding artist and has found that this area can provide plenty of inspiration.  Give her a call to discuss your event.

Sarah Moreton - Event Sales Co-ordinator

Originally from the UK, leaving the suburbs of London to travel, Sarah stumbled upon Queenstown back in 2007 and never made it back!  With Team Leader roles in both Hospitality and Sales and a passion for the Leisure and Tourism industry, Sarah has been with Real Journeys since 2012.  She joined the Events team in early 2017 and prides herself on attention to detail.

Sarah loves ‘the outdoors’ and is passionate about a sustainable environment.  When not at work she competes in local Cross Country Mountain Bike events and is most often in the mountains training, hiking, snowboarding or practising yoga.
